The club meeting was held today at LMC's Nature Preserve where the groundskeeper, Ricardo Black, was nice enough to give us all a tour of the preserve, talking about the different plants that were there and some brief history as well. Ricardo also informed us that he's more than happy to have volunteers come and help him work on the Nature Preserve to restore it and make it a nice place to visit. Some upcoming volunteer opportunities are helping him clear out invasive plants to prepare the grounds for some wildflower seeds ordered to create more blooming plants. We'll most likely plan a club meeting revolving around volunteering for the preserve but Ricardo's email is here if anyone's interested in club separate volunteering: black.ricardo626@gmail.com
