Today some of the WinS club members came down to the LMC Nature Preserve to help do some volunteer work. We helped the groundskeeper, Ricardo, start to remove some invasive grass around different plants to help kickstart the project of clearing out this grass as much as possible and to replace it with wildflower seeds to restore pollination and native plants to the preserve. Ricardo mentioned that he's usually at the reserve Mondays-Thursdays if anyone is interested in putting in some volunteer hours or if you just want to enjoy the scenery and read some books and relax.
