WinS 10/23/20 Meeting

Today's meeting consisted of discussing our article, "Models and modeling for authentic STEM education: reinforcing the argument."Talking about specific learning styles in STEM classes.

On November 7th for those interested, there will be a WCC meeting 10:30-11:30 am that includes networking and hearing a Clorox scientist's academic journey, along with career experience. We ask to please RSVP by November 5th. Link is available through the email sent out.

We will be having a speaker on November 20th with a grad student at USC that will be talking about her transition from community college to a university. More information will come to follow.

We have our confirmed virtual tour at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on December 4th where we will have a 1-hour tour of NIFT from 10-11 am, followed by a 30-minute career panel (11-11:30).
